The
TALKING STICK

Talking Sticks are another one of those really cool inventions created by our Indian tribes. It's an ingenious device, the idea of which is that whoever is holding it may speak without being interrupted, until such time as they place the Talking Stick back on its stand so that someone else can pick it up.

I guess that some individuals might hog the thing and force others to listen for much too long a time, but I'm sure the Indians had a way to prevent that.

Do you think it might be a useful gadget to improve communication for couples?

Or even during business meetings?
